Maffia World is the online mafia game in your browser. Since 2004 players have built their families here, across five versions. Version 6 is under construction: eight cities in four countries, rival families and an exchange that reacts to what players do.

What’s coming in V6
Eight cities, four countries
Noordhaven, Bellamare, Blackwater, Port Mercer and four others. In every city a boss is waiting with a job you’d better not turn down.
Families and vendettas
The phone rings at three in the morning: the family is putting the treasury into its own lab, and a rival is claiming your district.
The exchange and The Quayside Herald
Every morning, The Quayside Herald hits the doormat. Whatever the street did yesterday is in the prices today.
The Black Market
Loods 7 in the industrial district of Noordhaven: weapons, protection and ammo, cash only, no receipt. Ammo is rationed by the day.
The bank
Dirty cash in your pocket is loot for someone else. In the vault it’s safe, as long as you don’t deposit too much at once.

I had a family in V5. What now?
Version 5 no longer takes new players. V6 starts fresh for everyone, with equal chances: nobody brings an old treasury or old crew along. You can claim your old name first, though, if you’re on the list.

Now we’re rebuilding version 6 from the ground up. Eight cities, four countries, the same law: the smart win, the sloppy pay. Everyone starts with a clean slate, old hand or new face.
